Account and data deletion

This page explains how to delete your account and related data, in particular if you signed in using Facebook.
Last updated: 2026-09-22

Deletion is currently handled by our support team on request (there is no self-service delete button in account settings yet). Write to us and we will process your request manually.

1) How to request deletion

If you signed in to this site using Facebook and want your data deleted, send a request to contact@bazarok.ua. Please include the email address linked to your account and use the subject "Account deletion".

2) Identity verification

We may ask you to confirm the account is yours (for example, by writing from the email address linked to it, or by confirming the phone number on your profile). This is to make sure no one else can request deletion of your account on your behalf.

3) What gets deleted

The request covers:

  • your account on this site;
  • data obtained through Facebook Login (name, email, profile picture, and the link between your account and Facebook).

Once verified, we will disable your account and delete or anonymize this personal data within 30 days.

4) Listings, messages and agency contact requests

These are linked to your account but are handled slightly differently:

  • Listings: will be taken offline and will no longer appear on the site.
  • Messages: conversations you already sent to other users may remain in their own message history — deleting your account does not retroactively remove it from the other party's inbox.
  • Agency contact requests: contact details submitted through a contact form may be kept in the receiving agency's own client records for its legitimate business purposes. On request, we will also review those records and anonymize personal data where feasible.

5) Turnaround time

We respond to requests within 30 days of identity verification. If some data needs to be kept temporarily (for example, to prevent fraud or to meet a legal requirement), we will explain which data and why.
